ABOUT US

Corvus and Canis is a band looking to spread their music to all. They love what they do and give 110% to every performance. CnC performs a range of genres from rock to a cafe acoustic sound. They play a wide variety of covers and strive for a sound that pleases ears of the listeners.

The name Corvus & Canis came from the relationship of Ravens and Wolves. Both animals rely on each other. The raven will caw to the wolf pack when they find prey so they both can eat. The two have been known to even play with each other. We see musicians and fans of music are the same way. We both rely on one another, musicians for fans to listen to music and fans for musicians to make music.

Travis Mackey has been playing guitar since he was 14. After playing Contemporary Christian music for six years, he performed in Renegade for six months, and then The Well Fellers for a year. Alone, his acoustic rhythm style and his raw Blues have helped him win Front Porch of the South’s Battle of the Bands and a spot on the TV Show Minstrel’s on the Block.
